ALM Code 3 Milled Lead Roll - 300mm / 12 inch x 3m / 6m is a lightweight milled lead sheet commonly used for window flashings, tile and slate soakers, and smaller pitched roof weathering details.

Code 3 lead is thinner and easier to dress than heavier lead codes, making it suitable for lighter leadwork applications where flexibility is important. At 300mm wide, this roll gives more coverage than narrower soaker rolls while still being best suited to smaller flashing and weathering details where Code 3 lead is appropriate.

Things to consider before buying

• Code 3 lead is generally used for lighter applications such as soakers and smaller flashings.
• For chimneys, valleys, gutters, flat roofing, parapets or heavier-duty weathering details, a higher code such as Code 4 or Code 5 may be more suitable.
• Check that 300mm / 12 inch is the correct width for your flashing or soaker detail.
• Lead sheet should be installed in accordance with recognised leadwork guidance, including correct laps, fixings and allowance for thermal movement.
• Patination oil is usually recommended after installation to help reduce staining.
