Welcome to aboutroofing.com, the online home of About Roofing Supplies - the largest independent roofing materials supplier in the South East!
We started trading as a roofing merchant in 1999 from one site in Esher in Surrey, later expanding to other sites in Redhill in Surrey, and East Grinstead in West Sussex. In 2014 we opened our fourth branch at Dorking in Surrey.
About Roofing Supplies takes great pride in not being a faceless company where our customers have little idea of who they are dealing with, and where there is no continuity - unlike so many modern businesses in all sectors these days.
The company was founded by Jason & Dale Rivolta who still own the company and are involved with every aspect of running it. Garrett Courtney, our Sales Director, joined shortly afterwards, followed a year or two later by four members of staff who are still with us, followed a year or two later by another three: Between them they have 116 years of experience working for the company and over 195 years of industry experience!
We have dealt with many of our customers at branch level since the day that we first started trading in 1999, and we also have a number of regular internet customers who have dealt with us online since 2009 when we launched our ecommerce site. All of us who work at About Roofing Supplies are real people and contactable.
In 2009 we joined the internet revolution and started trading online which proved to be extremely successful. As the internet evolved and the need to offer collection facilities for customers to “Click & Collect” became essential, we re-launched the online business in March 2013 as aboutroofing.com.
We have a highly motivated and experienced team that includes representatives who are available for site surveys locally. We also offer a tile matching service for local sites and free material & quantity estimates from architects’ drawings.
We pride ourselves on our attention to detail & customer service, maintaining a personal "small company" approach with the professionalism that one expects of a large company.
Of course every business talks about their great service, attention to detail etc, but few actually put those laudable sentiments into practice. In fact it’s the hardest thing to do! But we try - all of us do. And this is why, we think, that we have been so successful. But we are not complacent - every day brings new challenges & requires renewed effort.
We are available to help in any way we can between 7.30am & 5pm Monday to Friday, & 8am to 12pm on Saturday.

As a business we pride ourself on exceptional customer service and we understand the importance of getting the right product for the right job.
We do not simply talk customer service – we live it, try to provide it, and boy do we expect it from our suppliers (and rightly so!).
That is why everyone at aboutroofing.com agrees that it is of the utmost importance to supply the customer with the perfect product, every time.
We always try to sell the right product for the right application - please feel free to ask if you require an item that is not listed as we have access to 1,000s of other products not listed online!
We believe in the principle of Feedback – particularly for online customers who have to make the decision about whether to trust us with their order – or one of our competitors. We have six years of feedback of at least 99.8%, and also have Feedback with trusted online Feedback monitoring companies such as Foxrate and Trustpilot.
Customer feedback is imperative to us. That's why we love to hear from our customers, whether it's positive or not so positive as this helps us improve the service we offer.
We pride ourselves on making things right on those rare occasions when things go wrong. Unlike other businesses who would rather gloss over this & pretend that things do not go wrong, we acknowledge that they do, and when they do - whether our fault or not - we make sure that we put things right & leave the customer feeling that we have looked after them & put things right.
