Tyvek 1310D 50 mm x 25mtr Double Sided Acrylic Joint Tape For Breathable Membranes
This product is ideally suited for sealing membrane laps, but is also appropriate for sealing membranes at roof, wall and floor junctions and for making good around pipework and wiring penetrations. It may also be used to repair a damaged membrane in conjunction with a suitable patch.
DuPont Tyvek Double-sided Acrylic Tape has a strong initial tack, and provides excellent adhesion properties even under extreme humidity conditions and varying temperatures as well as excellent resistance to ageing, fluctuations in temperature and humidity and most commonly used chemicals.
The Tyvek range of accessories has been developed for use with Tyvek Supro and other breathable membranes to help reduce uncontrolled air leakage through the building envelope.
DuPont Tyvek 1310D Double-sided Acrylic Tape is made of solvent free modified acrylic adhesive based on an aqueous dispersion. It has good adhesion to Tyvek membranes and many other materials such as PP nonwovens, PE films, timber and metal.
DuPont Tyvek 1310D Double-sided Acrylic Tape has outstanding performance in high humidity conditions and is suitable for use within a wide temperature range.
The system works with the internal ventilation regime to allow a controlled flow of air in and out of a building, helping to maintain internal temperatures in both summer and winter and reduce energy costs.
DuPont Tyvek Double-sided Tape is ideal for sealing overlaps and bonding Tyvek membranes and Tyvek AirGuard AVCLs together.
Tyvek Double-sided Tape is recommended for use with Tyvek UV Facade, but is also suitable for all other Tyvek membranes and DuPontTM AirGuard AVCL products.

- The ability and efficency of the adhesive to provide a suitable tack may be affected by low temperature below 5 degrees C, contamination to bonding surfaces and the presence of moisture
- Users should check that DuPont Tyvek 1310D Double-sided Acrylic Tape is suitable for the proposed use.
- The application should be carried out on a dry and clean surface (no dust, grease or solvent).
- DuPont Tyvek Double-sided Acrylic Tape should be cut off the reel with a sharp craft knife or safety cutter (scissors are inappropriate).
- Any adhesive residue on the knife blade can be removed effectively with a white spirit type solvent (exercise care when doing so).
