Details

915mm 36 inch x 6 mtr / 3 mtr Code 5 Milled Lead Roll is often used where a heavier gauge of lead sheet is required for applications such as flat roofs, parapets, box and tapered valley gutters.

Code 5 lead is also suitable for applications such as window flashings and tile and slate soakers as it is an easy to install, excellent weatherproofing material due to its high resistance to corrosion as well as beings long lasting and flexible in all weather conditions.

Easy to install, lead in various sizes and thicknesses is used for diverse applications such as pitched roofing, vertical cladding, flashings, soakers, baytops, canopies, gutters and other lead detail work.

Lead sheet is also excellent for sound reduction, as it is both dense and malleable, and so does not transmit sound easily, which means lead will stop much noise because of its weight and it will dampen the noise due to its soft characteristics.

Lead sheet has been in use as a building material for centuries and adorns the roofs of churches, offices, factories, public buildings and homes throughout the United Kingdom because of its ease of use, durability and the pleasing grey colour of its protective patina.
