Hardwood Chestnut Play Chip for Children's Play Areas - Bulk Bag is a play-grade loose-fill bark or woodchip surface for children's play areas.
Play bark and play chips are used to create a softer, free-draining surface beneath play equipment, swings and general play zones. Online play-surface suppliers commonly reference BS EN 1177 impact-attenuation testing and recommend installing to the correct depth for the equipment's fall height.
Best for
- Children's play areas
- Under swings, climbing frames and garden play equipment
- Nurseries, schools and domestic play spaces
- Areas needing a natural-looking impact-absorbing loose surface
Key features
- Loose-fill surface helps cushion falls when installed at the correct depth
- Natural-looking finish for garden play areas
- Free-draining material helps reduce standing water
- Can be topped up as the surface settles over time
Application / installation
- Install onto a prepared, contained area with suitable edging
- Lay to the recommended depth for the play equipment and required fall protection
- Rake level after installation and top up periodically as the material compacts or migrates
