Brewer Aspirotor Model 150 Anti-Downdraught Chimney Cowl - 115mm-180mm Internal Flues - Gas, Oil, Wood & Coal - Terracotta or Stainless Steel

Brewer Aspirotor Model 150 Anti-Downdraught Chimney Cowl - 115mm-180mm Internal Flues - Gas, Oil, Wood & Coal - Terracotta or Stainless Steel is a rotating anti-downdraught chimney cowl designed to improve flue draw by using wind movement to turn the turbine head.

It is suitable for gas, oil, wood and coal systems where the correct size is selected. The turbine helps counter downdraught and can assist where natural draw is insufficient.

Best for:

  • Chimneys affected by wind-related downdraught
  • Flues with insufficient natural draw
  • Gas, oil, wood and coal systems where compatible
  • Standard round chimney pots within the stated fit range

Key features:

  • Model 150
  • Fit range: 115mm to 180mm internal flue diameter
  • Cast aluminium base with stainless steel turbine head
  • Starts rotating in wind speeds from around 4mph
  • Twin high-temperature oil-filled bearings for smooth operation
  • Swivel head allows access for chimney sweeping and cleaning

Application / installation:

Hook-bolt fixing to the chimney pot. The chimney or flue should be swept before any terminal is fitted, and the product should be installed by a competent person working safely at roof level.

Things to consider before buying:

  • Choose Model 150 or Model 200 based on the internal flue diameter.
  • The chimney pot shown in product imagery is not included unless stated.
  • Not a substitute for checking underlying flue, appliance or ventilation issues.
