Swish uPVC Capping Fascia Board - 9mm x 250mm x 5m - Rosewood is a 9mm uPVC capping board used to cover an existing sound fascia and refresh the roofline finish.

It provides a low-maintenance, weather-resistant finish where full fascia replacement is not required, but it must be fixed over a suitable backing board and should not be treated as a structural replacement fascia.

Application / installation

• Check the existing timber/backing board is sound before fitting
• Fix to the backing board with suitable plastic-headed pins or fixings
• Leave suitable expansion gaps between boards and use the correct joint trim or corner
• Fit any fascia ventilation to the timber backing board only where required

Things to consider before buying

• Capping board should not carry the eaves course or guttering load on its own
• Use 16mm full replacement fascia board if the existing fascia is rotten or unsuitable
• Allow for matching joint trims, corners and fixing pins
• Check ventilation requirements at the eaves before closing the roofline
