The Rockwool Thermal Insulation Roll is used in lofts as a two layer system, bolstering thermal performance in both winter and summer months.

The insulation is composed from a medium density volcanic rock mineral wool, meaning it is non - combustible and is able to withstand temperatures of 1000 degrees, therefore will act as a barrier to fire and earning its Euroclass A1 rating.

The Rockwool Thermal Insulation Roll offers high acoustic performance, as its non - directional fibres will dampen sound travel and vibrations through your home. The insulation is also non-hydropscopic, meaning it does not promote mould growth, fungi or bacteria.

The rolls are suppled as pre-split twin rolls, with thicknesses of 100mm and 200mm. The 100mm roll is used between the joists in a loft area, while the 200mm is laid across the joists, bringing the total to 300mm thickness.
